Base de datos de ciudades históricas

Abstract

Español: La Base de Datos de Ciudades Históricas de Andalucía es el resultado de una iniciativa conjunta entre las Consejerías de Cultura y de Obras Públicas y Transportes que se enmarca en el proyecto "Redes de Ciudades Históricas de Influencia Islámica en el Sur de la Península Ibérica y Norte de Marruecos" (proyecto Feder) que debía incluir información sobre todo el patrimonio urbano regional con objeto de servir de apoyo a los diferentes departamentos de la Administración con competencias en la gestión de este patrimonio: protección, ordenación del territorio, etc. En este capítulo, se analizan los antecedentes de esta base de datos, las entidades registradas, las fuentes de información y su estructura y funciones. Asimismo se realiza un primer análisis de la información que contiene y se concluye realizando un análisis crítico de la aplicación, referente tanto al diseño conceptual como a sus contenidos, con objeto de que sea realmente un instrumento útil para una gestión integral del patrimonio urbano. Inglés: The Andalusian Historic Cities Database is the result of a joint initiative between the Cultural Council and the Public Works and Transportation Council framed within the project "Networks of Historic Cities with Islamic Influence in the Southern Iberian Peninsula and Northern Morocco" (a Feder project). It includes information regarding all regional urban heritage with the goal of serving as a support for the different departments of the Administration that are involved in the management of this heritage: protection, ordering of territory, etc. This chapter analyzes the antecedents of this database, the entities registered, the sources of information and its structure and functions. In this way, the chapter undertakes an initial analysis of the information it includes and concludes by carrying out a critical analysis of the application, in terms of its conceptual design as well as of its contents, with the aim that it be a truly useful tool for the integral management of Urban Heritage.
