Abstract

Español: Con el presente artículo pretendemos dar a conocer la historia y evolución del edificio del Ayuntamiento que, presidiendo la Plaza de España, forma parte indispensable del paisaje urbano de la ciudad. Se trata básicamente de un proyecto inacabado de Balbino Marrón y Ranero, con fachada de aires clasicistas ejecutada en ladrillo visto, hoy día en proceso de rehabilitación. Inglés: With this article we want to show the history and evolution of the City Hall building that dominates the Plaza of Spain, and is an indispensable part of the urban landscape of the city. It is basically an unfinished project of Balbino Marrón y Ranero with an air classical facade in brick, now undergoing rehabilitation.
